Stella used to wake up at 5am every morning, without fail. We tried keeping her up late, putting her to bed early, all types of convincing... nothing worked. Until we bought her this clock. It's brilliant! She sees the picture of the "little girl" who is either asleep or awake, riding her scooter. I simply explained to her that she needs to stay asleep until her "little girl wakes up". It took about a week but now she stays in bed (even if she's not asleep) until her little girl wakes up. Even if she wakes up early, she sits there and waits for the girl to change from sleeping to awake. Brilliant!
It also comes in a blue boy version. If you're looking for a useful gift for a child/toddler in your life, I highly recommend this clock. What's more, it has both analog and digital clocks, so when Stella is a bit older and learning to read time, she won't have to trade her toddler clock in for a big girl clock :)
